[Allusers] Conftele2007 - Deadline extension

Due to multiple requests, the organising committee decided to extend the 
deadline for paper submission until the 15th of December 2006. 



        6th Conference on Telecommunications - Conftele 2007

Objectives

The 6th Conference on Telecommunications, Conftele 2007, organised by 
Instituto de Telecomunicações, will be held at Hotel Atlântico Golfe, in 
Peniche, Portugal, on May 9, 10 and 11, 2007. The Conference constitutes 
an international forum for the exchange of information among 
universities, research units, service providers, operators and 
manufacturers, on recent technical issues in telecommunications.

Format

The Conference includes plenary sessions with invited keynote speakers, 
parallel thematic sessions (including oral and poster presentations), a 
panel discussion and an exhibition. The exhibition will display recent 
developments in the area of telecommunications (prototypes, services, 
applications and trials). All technical activities will be held in English.

The technical program committee invites the submission of original, 
unpublished technical papers in (but not limited to) the following list 
of topics:

. Instrumentation and Measurements
. Materials and Devices
. Mobile and Wireless Communications
. Multimedia Technologies and Applications

. Quantum Effects in Information and Transmission
. Services and Applications
. Signal Processing

Submission of Papers

All contributions must be electronically submitted as 4-page full papers 
in PDF format according to the template provided at the Conference 
website. Please refer to the website for further submission details. At 
least one of the authors of accepted papers is required to be registered 
until February 23, 2007.

Deadlines

Reception of full-papers -- Extended deadline: Dec 15, 2006
Authors notification -- Jan 26, 2007
Registration -- Feb 23, 2007
