Abstract
In presentation the problems with LTI and LPTV (linerar periodical time variant) model of the power system description are discussed. The special attention to the equivalent impedance of the power system in the PCC (point of common coupling) is given, as it is responsible for harmonic voltage pollution if nonsinusoidal currents are deliverd to the consumer. The knowledge od system impedance is essential for assesment of the consumer/distributor responsibility for unwanted harmonics in the system. The system activity, stifness and nonstationarity makes real power system impedance identification difficult. Accurate DSP identification methods of the LTI model have been proposed. The result of LTI model implementation to the University power grid desccription show that LTI time/frequency domain models are not always adequate for power system description.
A new LPTV model of the power system was proposed. Such a model can not be treated in frequency domain, so presents new DSP challenges if is has to be practically implemented.. The principal problem is that the real power system is nonstatonary and unknown, so there is no direct reference to the results of new method of system modeling. It is why simulations are essential in new LPTV DSP method treatement development. Mixed simulation and experimental investigations of LPTV properties of the power system will be presented in details. The current state of reserch, and problems with LPTV model implementation to power system decription will be presented.
Main points of presentation:
1.. Power system LTI and LPTV models
2.. Experimental results with LTI power system modeling
3.. Accuracy problems with LTI power system model
4.. Periodical time variance of power system - real system observations
5.. LPTV power system model identification problems
6.. Simulation and experiments in development od LPTV power system modeling
